The Carter III
Lil Waynes third installment to the current trilogy. Highly anticipated and to me, highly dissappointing. With an array of useless and unnecessary metaphors, flow breaks midstream of a song, and the constant repitition of lines, Lil Wayne in my opinion has regressed as just a feature artist. It appears that the only songs that are worth listening to are the ones with features.
It seemed every song Weezy was outdone by guest appearances. Nothing on Me, Fablous and a surprising verse from Juelz Santana steal the ear. Jay Z absolutley makes Lil Wayne seem like a Myspace rapper on Mr Carter. And many others...
Production wise this is a masterpiece., With masterful sampling done by Kanye West and JUst Blaze. A nicely done piece by Swiss Beats and numerous other classics production wise...
But this all my opinion
1. 3 Peat (Produced By Cool & Dre) 3:19
3/5
2. Mr. Carter (Featuring Jay-Z) (Produced By Just Blaze) 5:16
6/5--> FIRE!!!

4. Got Money (Featuring T-Pain) (Produced By Play-n-skillz) 4:04
