1) Money Over Bullshit - '' Hip Hop Is Dead '' starts with a solo piece where NaS keeps it gangsta. strong hollow beat, NaS in his soul-less grace. 5/5
2) You Can't Kill Me - My least favorite production on the album, this is a story-telling song and a good one. He reminds me of Ghostface with this one. 4/5
3) Carry On Tradition - Explains why hip-hop is in the same state as Iraq. "We the reason it died." Deeper social commentary on the unity of young black rappers, Smooth beat. 4.5/5
4) Where Are They Now? - Don't feel the guitar at all on this song, lyrically redeeming. 3.5/5 5) Hip Hop Is Dead - Why use a pop-star as a guest on this song? Once again, too much guitar, not lyrically as solid, pulls a Mike Jones with the repeating lines. 3/5
6) Who Killed It? - Ehh Album losing steam. 2/5
7) Black Republican - Jay actually doesn't do all that well with his verse but this song still resurrects this CD, beat is straight fire and NaS's verse is eyes-wide-open good. 4.5/5
8) Not Going Back - Piano beat, NaS is NY's finest. 5/5
9) Still Dreaming - Kanye does what Kanye does with the soft vocal instrumental, good verses from both rappers. 4.5/5
10) Hold Down the Block - Another soft easy-going song, "They got us caged in." 4.5/10
11) Blunt Ashes - Smoke a blunt and make a song, another story that only NaS can tell. 5/5
12) Let There Be Light - "Gillette's cut cane in the kitchen." Straight fire. 5/5
13) Play on Playa - Snoop's flow compliments NaS' well, harsh and smooth. 4.5/5
14) Can't Forget About You - This one doesn't stand out. 3.5/5
15) Hustlers - Dr. Dre delivers the heat on the beat and Game and NaS blow this album up to Stillmatic/Illmatic standards, NaS's best collabo since Life's A Bitch w/ AZ. 5/5
16) Hope - A poet. 5/5
Overall - NaS only struggles with slight self-contradiction. This is almost irrelevant. He spits on another level than the talentless screw-ups who get deals these days. Sorry Lil' Wayne, NaS is the best rapper alive and one of the few reasons hip-hop's ailing heart still keeps the machine beeping. 4andhalfstars.png

1) Money Over Bull - hot...still gotta listen to it again to hear it.
2) You Can't Kill Me - love this track and flow...nutty
3) Carry On Tradition - one of my faves. real.
4) Where Are They Now? - love this joint. more real talk.
5) Hip Hop Is Dead - FIRE
6) Who Killed It? - ye see! i love this one. so creative.
7) Black Republican - Jay's verse was sick. listen closely. dope collab and gritty beat.
8) Not Going Back - i love this song. the beat is nice and the content is dope too.
9) Still Dreaming - i love this song so much. i love Chrisette in the back and Nas's first verse is so dope.
10) Hold Down the Block - another hot one...perfect follow up to the last track.
11) Blunt Ashes - don't like the track and it seems he jumps off beat sometimes...but good story telling.
12) Let There Be Light - "SO DOPE...but i'm kinda mad at this dude sounding like Anthony Hamilton...just get anthony hamilton. But dude can blow
13) Play on Playa - disqualified cause of a curseword (thought i had the clean version..hello?) i don't care for. okay track
14) Can't Forget About You - THIS IS THE BEST ONE. BEAT, CONCEPT, CHRISETTE.
15) Hustlers - gritty track. nice vibe. not the best on the album though
16) Hope -i like the creative aspect of it. it's real.
I will give this album a 4. This one hit me like "It Was Written" did. He took his time and made sure this album was what is was hyped to be. This album made me a believer cause I wasn't really on Nas all that much. i think some of the songs don't stick to the overall theme, but it was very consistent. Good job Nas.

Yeah Nas Album is Worth 4 Mics.. I Just Think I Can't Remember Which Song it Was Where He's Kinda Rappin Fast To a Slow Beat I Like The Concept The Content For The Song But It Was a Bad Choice On Nas Behalf because It Sound Like He Was Forcin Himself To Match The beat, You Can Tell If he Wanted To Say More beut He Couldn't Due To The beat Being So Slow...
But None The less Stilla Dope Album And It's Worth Buying.

I mean take it from me, usually i ain't a Nas fan cuz his songs make me go sleep. But with this album he's mixed the perfect amount of beats with lyrics and that gives a hard deliverance of lyrics.....haha
