I didn't think Soulja Boy had degrading lyrics (or as degrading as most other artists). Most of his lyrics are about dance moves really.

Soulja Boy says lyrics that are degrading to women? O.o No, not to women, but humanity. I think it's kind of bullshit to say he's misogynistic, yes Soulja Boy is dumb as fuck, but I wouldn't go as so far to say he's misogynistic, however I feel funding any artist of any sort isn't overly beneficial to anyone as they should be investing this money in maybe something that effects education, like a bursary? But then again, it's an actual concert and doesn't seem to me like they used school funds to get this, their own money. So, are the protesters butthurt in this situation? Yes.
