UK mostly dont like US because they are the SuperPower of the world and its old traditions passed down because the UK used to be the SuperPower of the world and it was taken from us. If/When Japan takes it from you, you will hate japanese people. But the UK soldiers dont mind "Saving the US in wars" they joined the Army to fight, not to sit in the barracks and train for months on end, however I doubt the Minister of War agrees.
Seriously though, not many people hate the US, its a fading tradition.

Lol Japn will never dominate the U.S, I just hope next president has some sense though. Cause Japan still is a serious threat to the world. And stops letting Japan regrow to a super-power, because I see that in the future of Hillary or either Obama.

Why does America deserve to be a superpower over japan? High crime rate, huge enemployment, known as a nation of international terrorists (Iraq, Afganistan anyone?), stupid (you let Bush in), warmongering, greedy (coruption, look at the major corporations, the oilwar in iraq, have incredibly low gas prices yet still want more to drive hummers in the fucking city), materialistic...... yeah.. that's who i want practically running my planet. not saying anything against the US, but why do they deserve it over Japan? Japan is the only stage 5 development country in the world. Very healthy, hard working, advanced etc.. surely logically THEY should be the superpower? No?

They do deserve to be the world superpower, their advancements in technology and their economy is amazing. Not many post-war countries can come that far, the US goverment is fucked up big time, they are corrupt to fuck. No-one hears of Japan doing anything big, they keep themselves to themselves and are still are a massive world power. However, the UK will always be strong allies with the US. I think the if an eastern country becomes the superpower it will cause tension with the western world.

If you think we allow Japan to reach back to their status they won't do the same as before is crazy. If we have learned anything from the past it's, history repeats itself. And when countries keep shit to themselves, usually means something is in the works. Japan is alot more resourcful and devious then N.Korea. So expect if we let them regain status, and they aren't head honcho. They will control the world, including all you doods not in the U.S. The U.S would help the entire world, by not letting them regain status. Plus as a nation we do things by the book. Even though people fail to see that, every time we try with the diplomatic approach first. Now as for going into Iraq early? Well think of it this way do we wait till the threat is alot larger, and then go in. Or do we try to send it to the pits while it's in the early stages. And we don't have increadible low gas prices either. Far from it, they are constantly rising everywhere. Pulling out of Iraq right now will be more deterimental then before. And it currently is hardly a war at the moment. It is a battle zone still of course, but if we were to pull out right now. Soldiers can't all pull out at once, the insurgents will jump on the soldiers waiting to leave. Not to mention Iran will take over Iraq and control pretty much all the oil in the world. And your guy's countries need oil to, but we are the ones fighting for it. And I also agree on the fact that it's not our right to police the world. But there is two sides to that coin. For example why do people do work for their community? Why do you help some lady crossing the street? Why do you hold the door for a female?...See it's not a have to, but you find yourself ending up doing these things anyways. No you might think im 100% for the war, no. I think that going in there was mos def. a good idea. But it could've been a lot more productive. As for weapons of mass destruction yea im sure they have already built a few of them, and we were unable to find them.

If you are an American living in France (me) you get a whole lot of bull-shit on why America sucks so much. I mean I got this shit we're people ask me my nationality and I say "I'm American" and they go psychotic and get all pissed off because they think that they're are Canadians and Mexicans and South American who also calim themselves "Americans". Now, I respect this but when people ask my nationality I say American because you wouldn't say "Ya, I'm USAan". Second point, I don't understand why people judge Americans so much because of our government. If you have a problem whith George Bush send him an e-mail don't complain to me that it's my fault he was elected...HELL I CAN'T EVEN VOTE. 51% of Americans voted for George Bush and 49% for John Kerry. In my opinion they were both shitty choices but hell we need a leader between those two. People voted for Bush because Kerry would have pulled out Iraq in an instant without cleaning up our mess. With Bush, on the other hand, Bush would finish what he set out to do and hopefully, finish the damn job (obviously he hasn't) but that settles that. Now, for the "Fat People" issue...It is a un-wholesome fact that over 60% of Americans are fat. This includes old, beer-belly men who are about 60 and who's father's saved all of Europeans asses in WW2. Also, in track meets and olympic-type events who (on average) has the most gold medals? Americans. Most American youths (children) have up to 12 hours a week in sport. I would know, I played triple ABC baseball in Ohio and we had games or practices 6 days a week! And that also goes without saying Americans are very smart people and more than 2/3 go to University. The USAis also on of the most welcoming countries on the Earth: you got peoiple from: Germany (a lot in Ohio), Italy (a lot in NYC), Mexico (in New Mexico and Cali), Japan (in Cali) hell...it's uncountable. No offence to the Brits but those mofos who got captured in Iran for intruding waters (apparently) were such pussys. Even I could have held out for longer than them to just admit to those bastards that they had tresspassed. If they were gonna kill the sailors and soldiers they would have done it immiadiately and if Iran hadn't have given the peple back within ONE month...the whole western world be ready to attack Iran on the first sign of hostality. I don't mean to be full of myself but sometimes...I guess you have to. America is hated because of what you just said. Everything you said sounded one sided, "we saved europes asses in WW2", Your country also obliterated a whole entire city (Hiroshima) filled with millions of innocent people. But hey, god bless America right? Now, i'm not hating America, my countries had a shady past as well (Good ol' Canada) but it's the mentality that America has spawned upon it's citizens that makes it a hated target amongst other countries. Also "The brits are such pussies" America has spawned this militaristic mentality among it's people (not all mind you, not even close, but enough to get press coverage). Now, these statements don't apply to all of America but people with your mindset.
