COMMON TERMS FLOW- Flow is when the focal point of the signature's natural 'flow' or action is being represented by the signatures effects. It is not a bunch of c4ds in the same direction. DEPTH-Depth is when a signature has depth to it, hence the name. The background may be blurred to create this, or the effects in it may be placed so as to represent the signature is not flat. FOCAL POINT-The point in a signature in which the main 'object' is placed. It is the focus of the signature. LIGHTING-Is the way light falls upon the focal, and matches what the focals natural lighting is. It is usually made by softbrushing. PLACEMENT-The location or arrangement of a signature's focal and effects are in order and go well together. ALIGNMENT/COMPATABILITY-The signatures features are compatible with its other features/effects. Ex: a vector render & grunge would not be compatible.

COLOURING/COLORING-Usually referred to only when a signature's colours are wack. This is when a signatures colours compliment and enhance eachother. RENDER-A cutout of a character or desirable focal point for use on a signature. STOCK-A full picture, e.g. a picture of a tree. SPRITE-A character usually from old video games, e.g. Mario from super mario land [SNES]. These are used commonly as focals for signatures. SMUDGING-An effect in a signature made with the smudge tool. It can make or break a signature, in some cases. PHOTOMANIPULATION-A type of signature. It is editing a photo. BRUSHES-Brushes used for backgrounds or effects in a sig. Usually used only at a beginner level. C4D- A cinema 4 d render. Used mainly for effects.

HOW TO CNC & WHAT IT IS. Cnc stands for Constructive Criticism. A definition from the dictionary:
criticism or advice that is useful and intended to help or improve something, often with an offer of possible solutions
Cnc is not sugarcoating your opinion on a sig. It means saying the truth, and saying what you can do to make the signature better. Here is one example of Cnc
Firstly, the text is hot. I don't really see anything you could improve on the text, considering this is more of a lp than sig. The render looks choppy in some places, and is boring/blank. The colours are okay, but more than just purple could be used, to get some variety in. The c4d in front adds some depth, and looks hot imo. Although the bg could be blurred some more if you want some more depth.
Yes, it does take a bit of time to Cnc a sig, but, it's worth it due to it aids the creator of the sig, and in return, they will likely cnc you back

The correct form of giving c&c for anything. is the sandwich approach, 1 positive, 2 negatives, 1 postive.
