I got your answers fam, look:
1.Backgrounds can be Anything you like.. another photo with graphics laid on top of it OR custom Brushing. i love the custom brushing because i like doing everything from scratch. but for now just do some brushing techniques and get familiar with all the Brush Strokes (under Filter at the top of your photoshop) or the Brushes (you know what that is im sure) to get a hang of how to make custom backgrounds. but if you need more assitance, open up any size document and use any color with the Paint Bucket, than go to Filter/Render/Clouds and than use any other Filter Design to mess around with different background techniques. (Or google PhotoShop Tutorials)
2.man, that Cutting Out takes practice forreal.. and even with practice some people just can't get it right.. but to start off with the cutting, use the Magnetic Lasso Tool or the Polygonic Lasso Tool and Zoom In to take off Every Littler Light Spot you see, thats not the person's skin/clothing.. go in VERY close to get it Just Right ;D

Yea, to #2, just use either the polygonal lasso, clicking every inch or so, or the normal lasso tool, and ride the edge of the object while zoomed in close enough to not notice big mistakes (50-75%, maybe more) and continue to ride the edge of the object until you end up back where you started off. Then, unclick and that object will be selected. Right click on the selected part and go to "Select Inverse" then press backspace or delete to get your own PSD, or too just get rid of everything but that object, leaving the outside transparent. Or, instead of selecting inverse, if you wanna keep that normal pic and just use the object by itself on another file or something, just press ctrl+alt+c (copy) while the object is selected, the go to the other file and press ctrl+alt+v (paste) and then go to edit, transform, scale, and adjust it's size and placement to fit your likings.
