It's the thinker's challenge of the month LOL But in all seriousness, can you? What gives you the right to take away the life of an other? Or what gives them the right to live? What if they hurt others? What if they don't? Thinker mentioned DT needs a revival, so let's get cracking.

Props.
I'm of the opinion that killing is morally and ethically wrong, but it is a case-by-case. I could go on for hours about any possible situation (euthanasia, abortion, war, etc.).
Wanna post up some hypotheticals?

Ok lets go with 2 to start:
1. In the case of a sicko. eg. Mass murderer, Torturer, Rapist 2. Eye for an eye
Just to say something while you've reminded me:
Please do not talk about abortion or euthanasia in this topic. They will be addressed in another one.
Just to keep things as on topic as possible.

Well.. Up In Canada.. If U Feel/Believe At Anytime Ur Right 2 Life Is Violate Ur Pretty Much Allowed 2 Results 2 High Measures Such As Murder... & In The Case Of Self-Defence Killin Is Justified
Personally I Do Think You Can Justify Killin.. Basically If One Threatens Anotherz Life Or The Life Of The Persons Loved One & The Threat Is Believed 2 Be True Or Real Or Taken Seriously.. Then An Optional Type Of Defence Against Tha Threat Could Be Murder.. Itz All Good With Me

I think this is the sort of thing that would vary from person to person. I think killing a person who didn't deserve it is an obvious one, but who's to say who deserves what?
This is the sort of debate that come to a logical conclusion because the idea of killing someone is abstract for many. However in my personal beliefs, the criteria in which killing someone can be justified are:
1. People who lack the humanity that makes them human beings, seriall killers being an example.
2. The idea of kill or be killed, if your life is on the line, it's common choice for humans to take action to protect themselves. However, again I haven't been in this sort of situation so I can't completely say that I would be trying to kill the person trying to kill me if that happened.
Those two points above I feel are my personal criteria for what could justify or constitute "killing someone". However, there are probably more, I'm just not completely in tune with this ideology yet. Lol

You could never kill someone because its morbidly wrong though you could if you were mentally strong.
ill.
no, really.
killing can be justified if its an evil person but say the army and other armyies fight each other these are men on men who have no idea what thier fighting for and these people have no direct confilct with each other, they do it because they think things will make it better, recently I met a guy my dad knows and he does for a living well did for a living research on gangs in Manchester, he said most killing were not because of drugs it was because of women, now that can't be justified.

S.O.L.
