"Thugmatic - DJ. 44 Magnum"
Holla if Ya Hear me: 4/5 This Track is a very good opener. Fast paced.
Be Strong: 4.5/5 Vibe kind of track. Hook isnt great but it works
Coming Up*: 5/5 I dont know how DJ. 44 Magnum made Tupac work on this beat but he did it.
You Aint Shit Without Your Homeboyz: 3/5 This is a decent track. Wasnt as good as the first few.
Ready For The World: 2.5/5 I was really anticipating this track but it really didnt live up to it. Fell very far from expectations.
Better Days*: 5/5 This track really made up for the track that came before it. Much better feel.
Ride On Our Enemies: 4/5 Again DJ. 44 Magnum surprises me. Makes Tupac rap over Eminem's "Way I Am" beat. Very good track.
Open Fire: 3/5 Track wasnt bad or too good either. Not much to say about it.
Remember The Old School: 4/5 Good Track. Tupac now raps over one of Big Pun's beats. Not much of a hook here.
Dont Cry*: 5/5 Excellent track. Tupac rhymes a story over Dr. Dre's "Still Dre" song.
Fuck 'em All: 4/5 Good beat + Good Vocals = Good Song.
So So Crazy: 4/5 This is actually a good track. Took a few listens to grow on to it.
Thugmatic*: 5/5 Agressive track. Very good. Beat is Decent
Let's Fight: 4/5 Beat and Especially Vocals are very low. This would have been a 5/5 track but that takes points away.
Fake Ass Bitches: 3.5/5 Decent track. It was like"Open Fire" not too good or bad
Gettin' Money: 3.5/5 Vocals kind of low. But the song wasnt bad.
To Be a G: 2.7/5 Way too fast paced for my liking. Didnt like this track very much and DJ. 44 Magnums Tag just came out randomly in the middle of the song about 1 or twice. Kind of in an akward place too.
Scared To Die: 3/5 Decent. Again not bad but not a stand out track either.
Hail Mary: 4.5/5 The begining of this track wasnt great but it picked up after that.
Thug's Mansion*: 5/5 This is the definintion of a closer. Great track. I think that Nas belonged on this track instead of the other track called "Ready For the World." But this track is Excellent without Nas.
Overall: 4-stars.png
This mixtape was a very good mixtape. Better than DJ. 44 Magnum's last mixtape "Diary of A Fallen Soldier." This mixtape ran about an hour and Eight minutes long but had a couple of fillers here and there. One suggestion i would recommend for the future is to not put as many fillers in a mixtape and just keep the content raw. Another slight problem a listener might have is the "DJ. 44 Magnum Drops" sometimes they are annoying but the problem was just the way it sounded, It sounded wierd. But overall this mixtape is a must listen for any Tupac Fan. DJ. 44 Magnum really put in work into this mixtape and it shows. Congratulation to DJ. 44 Magnum on dropping his 3rd Mixtape and rebounding of his last one. I as many others do hope to hear more from DJ. 44 Magnum in the future.
