1. Everything Man- This is probably my favorite track on the album. Madlib does a great job, and Kweli rides it like a pro. This song is basically about how Talib can't please everyone, and he just has to be true to himself. Classic song right here, seriously. 5-stars.png
2. NY Weather Report- This track has a nice beat with some nice cutting. This track is about how he continues to do his thing no matter the circumstances, solid track. 4-stars.png
3. Hostile Gospel Pt.1- This song was kind of a let down. I expected more from Just Blaze, he's one of the top producers, this sounds like one of his left over beats. However, Kweli comes through with some meaningful lyrics touching on several issues. 3-stars.png
4. Say Something feat. Jean Grae- This beat is fire, and of course Jean Grae comes through with a hot verse. the hook isn't that great, but that's alright. 4andhalfstars.png
5. Country Cousins feat. UGK- This is one of the best songs on here, tight beat and tight flows from all 3 MC's. This is the kind of song that just makes you feel good when you listen to it. 5-stars.png
6. Holy Moly- This isn't one of Pete Rock's best beats, but still good. And Kweli comes with some dope lyrics. This is basically a song about hip-hop, paying homage to some of the game's fallen soldiers. 4-stars.png
7. Eat To Live- This is a song done in classic Talib Kweli fashion. This song is about how we need to feed all of the hungry children around the world. 5-stars.png
8. In The Mood- This is probably the biggest disappointment on the album. I figured "a Kanye beat, and he drops a verse too, this track should be fire." I was wrong, the beat is average at best and Kanye's verse is one of his worst (I think he just did a quick freestyle or something). Kweli's flow is the only thing that attempts to save the track. 1-star.png
9. Soon The Day feat. Norah Jones- Norah Jones lays the hook down nicely. This is a love song, and Kweli always does them well. 3andhalfstars.png
10. Give 'Em Hell feat. Lyfe Jennings & Coi Mattison- This song has a pretty good beat, and the hook is alright. This sounds like a filler track to me, but a good filler track if that's possible. Nothing really special, the religion topic is the only thing that makes it interesting. 3andhalfstars.png
11. More Or Less feat. Dion- Kweli and Hi-Tek reunite for this track. This is a good song about how we need more substance in life, not just cars and jewelery. 4-stars.png
12. Stay Around- I like this song better than the previous Pete Rock track (#6). This beat is really smooth, and it really flows with Kweli's Rhymes. I like the 1st verse a lot, he talks about how people are telling what to rap about, and what he can & cannot do on the mic. 4andhalfstars.png
13. Hot Thing- The 1st single, will.i.am comes through for a 2nd time with another good beat. This is basically a song made for the radio. At first I wasn't feelin' it, but it grew on me. It's a love song, a track for the ladies. 3andhalfstars.png
14. Space Fruit (Interlude) a nice little piece done by Sa-Ra, I won't rate it, it's just an interlude.
15. The Perfect Beat feat. KRS-One- Don't let the title fool you this song does not have "the perfect beat" the beat is good though. The legendary KRS-One comes through and adds a whole lot to the song in my opinion. KRS bring that energy like only KRS can. This song is dope, of course it's about hip-hop. 4andhalfstars.png
16. Oh My Stars feat. Musiq Soulchild- This is another good song, it has a good beat, good appearance from Musiq, but nothing great in my opinion. 3-stars.png
17. Listen!!!- This track is pure hip-hop, just a dope song. Nice battle raps from Kweli, and the beat is something you can nod your head to. The title says it all. 4andhalfstars.png
18. Go With Us feat. Strong Arm Steady- Another dope hip-hop track, Strong Arm Steady rep hard on this one. The beat is pure hip-hop, every MC brings their "A" game. This is the most "street" song on the album. 4-stars.png
19. Hostile Gospel Pt. 2 feat. Sizzla- Better than the 1st installment of Hostile Gospel. This is a cool track, the beat is nice. Again Kweli touches on some important issues like on part 1. 3andhalfstars.png
20. The Nature- Kweli doing a song with JT? And JT on the beat? WHAT? This song was a very pleasant surprise, a great way to end the album. Yes, the beat is tight, I was really impressed. And JT comes through with a nice hook. 5-stars.png
Overall, another solid album from Talib Kweli.
